I wouldn't use black lions on ecto itself though. Better use them on exotics, and with ecto go with Mystics. To save the most on salvaging a lot of ecto along with getting better chances at upgraded Luck and more dust make a Mystic Salvage Kit. A Mystic Salvage Kit would be my choice as it's more economic.
It's identical to a Master's Kit but has charges instead of You might also want to check if you have an abundance of the materials needed to just craft your own exotic gear and then break it down. There might also be exotic items that are cheap on the TP that you can place buy orders on and break down from there. I typed yellow and than exotic and then re-typed.
Need more coffee. Rare gear is what I was trying to convey, not exotic. There is a chance you will receive 0 from the salvage but again the cost to craft and break or order might be below the price of the ecto for you as an alternative. None of the recepies to promote dust are actually worth it, since they all use a full stack of the previous tier other fine materials, like blood or totems, use You'll get more from selling the lower tier dust and buying the one you need.
A bit small sample size, and how much did you do of each kit? Plus an absolute boatload of Luck, if you're not already maxed on that! Ignoring the Luck, ecto salvaging isn't drastically better than just buying dust straight, just slightly better. Queensdale Gendarran Fields Kessex Hills -. Bloodstone Elemental Sprite. Julie Yann. Had you taken the time to research the market a bit you would have realized that T6 Dust was at their peak and it was not a good investment if you were trying to turn a profit. Ectos however were at a record low and definitely worth the risk since Anet was bound to do something to bring their value back up.. Glad I bought a stack of those when they were 17s a piece.
Lyssa was just the final blow to the farming community. Posted by: Tinboy. Clearly, the dust cannot stay at 40s a piece if it is one of the most used materials. Posted by: Sam Gem. Seems like the people who touched the dust in any way are unhappy. I stayed away when they were hitting 5s from 1s each and regretted it ever since. It counter balances the two. But I fear that something else will be nerfed to make it harder to get ectos now. Posted by: Dante. If they actually readded them to drop rates i might care as it is nope keep ruining the economy one item at a time….
Well, yeah.. Posted by: MakersMark. A lazy fix to an artificial problem that ANET created. With the last update it becomes clear that they nerfed farming areas ahead of dragon bash and the high rate of drop of dragon coffers.
Dust scarcity was a side effect. Posted by: Hebee. Posted by: Khisanth. Depends on which salvage kit you use. Posted by: Amria. Posted by: ArchonWing.
